My first ever Wyze Cam death happened yesterday. The v3 lasted for about 3 years. All other cams are still working fine since 2019.
Luckily the Black Friday sales started. I ordered a grey v4 to replace the dead v3 and bought an OG to replace an old v2. Good prices abound.
Where ? I don’t see any good V4 prices on WYZE. Did the Iguana kill the V3? 
Walmart has a good v4 price ($26.08).
Steve, was your v3 that died inside or outside?

How do you commemorate this passing? Viking funeral? Hopefully any ceremony will be recorded and posted to Captured on Wyze. 
One of my Cam v4s is grey. I like that it doesn’t display the “sameness” of most other Wyze models. 
On Amazon. Had to go gray for $27.90.
Inside. I only have one bulb cam on the back porch. All others are inside with the Air Con on.
I missed it on Walmart. I did find I can get the same price or better on Walmart compared to Amazon. I wanted some printer ink and Amazon said I would have to sign up for Prime. Not necessary to sign up for anything on Walmart and items will arrive today with free shippong.
First gray cam for me. Only had white before, but the price was the deciding factor. OG for $14.98 on Amazon was nice.
No commemoration plan. Just an extraction of the SD card.
Did you test with a different known working power brick and power cord to make sure it is the camera that truly died?
A few of my Wyze Cams are black, like the Cam OG I put out at the driveway, and I like how that blends in with the brick and the sconce. I have just the one grey Cam v4. I kind of wish I’d gotten one of the blue Cam v3s when they were clearing those out—I think around the beginning of last year—just to have something different.

I went with Amazon this time, another Grey V4, for $27.80, of course I had to pay Commiefornia Tax so it was $30.15.

No. I guess I incorrectly labeled the cam as dead. I re-paired it to the network as I easily read the bar code. I just cannot view the cam. It states offline. I can remotely restart and reboot but always says offline.
I thought it might be a distance issue after all these years. Moved it next to the router. It worked for 5 minutes and no longer can be accessed. I figured upgrading to v4 would be less aggro.
It is amazing my v2s still work. I will be replacing one v2 with an OG, just to improve video quality.
Same here. Oh well. Both the V4 and OG installed.
Since late 2023 I have installed 18 V3, and 2 V3 Pan, and now 3 V4 cameras (some inside, some outside) to monitor a property. I had an outdoor V3 Pan fail a few months before its warranty was set to expire (it didn’t even survive 6 months). That one was replaced under warranty and I was told that I should not leave it exposed to the elements so I covered it and moved it further under the soffit. Then I had another V3 fail although it was located inside a well-covered carport, so no idea why it failed. I’ve replaced it with a V4, and installed two more V4 for final area coverage. I’ve also had 6 of their power adapters fail which I’ve had to replace out of my own pocket. I do not sing praises about the company or its products because frankly, I’ve never seen such frailty in equipment rated for outdoor and continuous use purposes.
Yes, I lost a battery-powered one (WVOD1) after about 1 1/2 years. Disappointing.
Snagged 2 black cam v4 (which I don’t need) to go along with 2 black cam OG (which I don’t need last year) but I did very well re price: $10 and $18 (with Buy w/Prime kicker.)
