I would guess that you might not find a link or notice on their Web site because of previous topics/posts I’ve read here in the Forum about Wyze Plugs being super cheap in-store only at Home Depot in the past, kind of like an unadvertised special (although clearly they’re advertising this Cam OG thing). That’s how I happened to pick up a couple of Plug Outdoors that were going for $5 apiece, just by going into a local store and checking (I was actually looking for the Plug 2-packs, but those were gone, and they had the Plug Outdoors at a great price, instead).
You’ll never catch me in any store on Black Friday, or really anytime that weekend, except maybe the grocery store.
Actually I just got a $15 off $30 microcenter coupon, 2 v4s adds up to $36, so $21 for two. Tempting, though I don’t really have a need for them (or a place to put two OGs if I swap them out). Since we all are going to be “half working” tomorrow, maybe take a ride over anyway. At this rate the microSD cards are more expensive than the cams.
The difference is the plugs were clearance (yellow tag) and those are never advertised (though you can see them on the website when shopping a specific store now, they added the in store clearance feature not long ago). The $9.98 OG is a black Friday deal so they’re advertising that like crazy, along with several other doorbuster type deals.
Sometimes if you wait until Friday and do store pickup, it will show the $9.98 price if the store hasn’t sold out, other times it doesn’t do that. But if you view the local ad you’ll see it there too.

I heard on a news program yesterday morning that my state is offering free admission to all state parks on Black Friday for people who want to avoid that mess and just be outdoors. I don’t recall hearing about this before, but I think it’s an excellent idea.

No, but that’s cool that other states are doing that, too. I’m not surprised.
I’m not in my home state now, though, and won’t be on Friday. Might have to see what’s available here and get out if the weather’s amenable.

FWIW, I got alerts from camelcamelcamel that Amazon currently has Cam OG for $9.98 and Cam OG Telephoto for $19.98.

I kind of overdosed . . .
Over the last month, we’ve had an intruder in my neighbor’s yard that led to K-9 and a couple of officers wandering through my back yard (“Close the door, sir!”), a homeless man hopping my back fence from the thrift shop to rummage, and a failed attempt to steal my truck (broke a window, opened the sliding back window (???), broke of the guard for the column lock, and stopped there with the key still working.
Anyway, I’m not quite clear on all of the damage to my wallet, but between Home Depot, Best Buy, and Amazon, I’ve picked up, as near as I can tell, four of the $10 OG from Home Depot, one v4 each in black and white, one each b&w pan, a telephoto, two of the base plates with cords, a pair of v2 floodlight, and a pair of pro floodlight.
Not to mention 8 128gb cards for which BB somehow managed to change from U3 micro to U1 no-micro (gosh, does anything still actually use a full sized card?), so I’ ve ordered again for the correct ones.
And I already have two V2 floodlight that were waiting to install (I think there are two more of another kind around, but I really don’t know where).
And one v2 floodlight that HD delivered on a cancelled order, as near as I can tell . . .
Now you just gotta hope your wifi is up to the task
