Good to know the marker trick. I didn’t think it would stay on, so I’ve been covering mine with electrician’s tape. Works ok, but still kind of shiny at the right angle.
I painted mine with acrylic paint to blend in. The in house one is painted the same as the walls…I also painted the cords lol
