Battery life on cam doesn's % and it shows it is still charging but the cable is not connected

I have a Wyze Cam Outdoor. The battery icon shows no percentage and also shows the camera is being charged but I am not charging it at this time.

I have deleted the cam, reset services, turned the cam off, force closed the app but it still does not show battey life and it shows it is still being charged even thought it is not being charged.

Outdoor cam v1, v2 or battery cam pro? I have 4 v1’s and 1 continues to flash red after reaching 100% while the other 3 power/charging light shuts down when they reach 100%. Five years and still performing as expected except for the 1 charging light issue.

v1

It shows the cam is charging and it says 0” percent. But it never goes past 0%. The red light is flashing.

I would guess that the battery’s life has expired. If you have had it charging for an extended period of time and there is no change on the camera battery from 0%, the camera is now a “tech paperweight".

same issue ( is possible tho reset the battery) is the second time I have to send it back.

I had one of my WCO v1 cams show offline yesterday and battery showed 96%. I brought it inside and plugged it in and it said 0%. I charged it for about 4 hours and it was back to 100%. Cam was put into operation 4 Nov. 2020, I just want it to make it to it’s 5th birthday.

I have 4 WCO v1’s that just made 5 yrs this week. They are still discharging and charging back up to 100% with no issues. Mine have been very reliable to date (knock on wood!). So have my BCP’s on solar panels. But I have to admit that they do not run 24 hrs continuously 7 days a week, only 8 - 10 hr cycles.

All my WCO v1’s will be 5 years on Nov. 4. I leave them all turned on and charge them when they get down to 40%. Some cams record a lot of events, others just a few/day.
