I have three Battery Cam Pros for bird feeders. They are configured to record 1m video clips with a 1m cooldown, and up until a couple of weeks ago this worked great. The AI detection only recorded clips with birds as expected, all was well.
Recently I started having issues with two of my cameras. With any motion at all they record 5m continuous, and the recordings are not available via cloud. I have done several factory resets with no help.
Any idea what could be going on? Firmware is current - 1.4.4.5013 and nothing has changed on the newtork.
Try doing the “reset services” in the cam settings? Can’t think of what would be causing that but when stuff doesn’t upload properly, that’s usually a good step to try. Factory reset doesn’t do the things that the services reset does.
I would do what @dave27 suggested. In addition, make sure your Event Recording Settings and notifications have not changed. I have had mine change without me knowing it and the smart detection was switched to All Events
Thanks. I did reset services and I’ve experienced the notification/detection resets and corrected them. It’s very strange. And another camera configured identically does not suffer from the same issues.
