We just installed 3 Battery Cam Pros. They work and detect live fine.
Is there a reason they will not always detect when there is motion? The problem is most consistent when there is motion within a couple of minutes The Wifi seems to be fine.

Do you have a paid subscription like Cam Plus? If not there is a cooldown period (No event recording) for probably 5 min between events.
Thanks for your response, Yes, we have the paid service. We will try the 5 minute cool down period.
Does that cam have a cooldown setting? I don’t have that cam. My old WCO v1 battery powered cams have a setting for the cooldown period which just got fixed this year after 1.5 years of being broken. It can be set to No cooldown period once again.
Thank you both. Yes, the cameras do have a cool down period that was set at 5 minutes. We put it to no cool down and that resolved the issue. Really appreciate your help
Now you will have to charge your battery more often.

Thanks for the tip! I thought about that, and will keep a eye on it ![]()
Are your BCP’s in locations that are open to solar panel use? That could eliminate the need to monitor for charging.
Thanks for the suggestion. They are around a lot of trees, but worth looking into.
