Hi Group…
I am looking for a cable that fits my Battery Cam Pro, (BCP). It can be a USB A to USB C with a 90 degree angle on the “C” side, like the original. Or a USB C to USB C with a 90 degree on one “C” side, like the original. It would also be nice to have the cable be flat.
I have a couple of flat 10 ft. cables, but they are USB A to USB Micro. I have even tried looking for an adapter that is USB Micro, (female) to USB. C,(male) in an “L” shape, but all I have found is a “U” shape and I am not sure it will fit.
If no one has a good solution for my cable, I will get the “U” shaped adapter ant let everyone know if it works.
Thank you for your response…
I can not find a flat USB C to USB C cable. (Let alone one that has a 90 degree to fit the BCP.
I am going to use the aftermarket flat cables for the V2 & V3 cameras with this adapter that will connect the cable USB Micro to the USB C port in the camera. Hopefully I will not have to shave the adapter to work on the camera.
I will keep you posted.

I had started an update to you today indicating that I had hoped you didn’t purchase because based on my research it wouldn’t fit. I deleted the post. The good thing is Amazon has easy returns.
I haven’t had this specific need or direct experience using non-Wyze-supplied USB cables for powering Wyze devices, but this is the thing that makes the most sense to me:
A quick search on Amazon for flat usb extension cable seems to turn up a number of options with USB-A connectors on either end.

Thanks to both of you, the solution is simple. Using the original BCP cable takes care of the camera end and the flat cable with USB A male on one end and female on the other will get the power to where I need it and the flat cable will make it easier on my door seal when I have the camera outside my RV.
Backstory..
My wife and I had a van built for us to be able to live out of. We wanted to be stealth so we got a cargo van without windows. Now that it is our home I wanted a way to be able to see what is outside our sliding door before we step outside. Thanks for your help with our security and I will post some pix when it is up and running.
@phillip.lauri59 - Thanks for the followup as it was most insightful. Interesting how much can be understood from the few words expressed in a follow-up. As my forum friend @Crease stated, it is always appreciated. Wish the best to you and your wife on this endeavor.
Having,
We have always done camping and in Southern California you can find perfect temperatures from the deserts in the winter and the mountains in the summer. So when I retired 3
Years ago we figured we would explore “Van Life” that became very popular during the pandemic.
We watched many videos and talked to other people that were also living the Van Life. We found out that it is not for everyone. We are husband and wife with a small dog. The small space and close quarters is still a challenge, especially when the weather is not cooperating.
We decided to hire a builder to make our dream van. Many builders do a cookie cutter build but we had requirements on our list that they would not help with and I am happy to say we found a builder that was interested in making our van a reality.
My job was to relate our ideas to the builder to make it a house on wheels and my wife’s job was to make it a home. Having her input helped with her willingness to adopt the Van Life.
