Audio wires caught in Robot Vacuum wheel

My sound system wires somehoe got tangled in one of the robot vacuum wheels. Despite tugging and pulling, I can’t get them free and was told by support that there is no way to remove the wheel. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can’t cut the wires.

Welcome @sjfisher51 , Iam a community Volunteer and not a Wyze Employee.

Is it possible for you to provide a picture of how the Wires are caught? My in-laws got wires caught as well, and with a few turns and pushing on the wheels to lower or raise allowed me to free the wires

Replacement wheels are available on AliExpress as an assembly with a motor so they are serviceable.

The Wyze vac is the same as the Xiaomi Mijia STYTJ02YM

My vac likes errant USB cables but I have been able to extract them without disassembly of the vac.

Perhaps the AE link will help in getting the cables out.

Looks like you can do one wire at a time. If you can get the wire to start up the side of the Wheel you should able to work it out by turning the wheel or pushing down and up on it.

The other option is if one end is free, push the wheel down some and you may be able to thread it through the wheel housing.

If you are a tinkerer, here is a video on taking the Vacuum apart. I know it is a Xiaomi, but believe it is the same.
