I stopped using Wyze Contact and Motion Sensors because of this. I have one or two motions sensors I still use because they don’t set off any alarm or sound on the hub like the contact sensors do. Moved to YoLink for most of those sensor needs including water/leak sensors.

I do have Home Monitoring subscription, and after several calls from Noonlight about one of my leak sensors I decided that a push notification was enough and removed the sensors from the alarm configuration. I discovered that unplugging the hub doesn’t work since there is a battery backup built-in and the alarm will sound every 10 minutes until the battery dies. I unplugged the hub and used a towel to muffle the alarm. Curious … how do you reset the hub?

Thank you for this info. Are there any updates from Wyze support on this? Silence alarm like a smoke detector … Turn off hub alarm for a leak sensor completely so we can take our own action with automation. I have included an example of what other suppliers do. [IMG_0100]
