That said, I wanted to share some feedback and inquire about a challenge I’ve encountered. Living in Arizona, I’ve noticed that the extreme summer heat here has caused issues with the longevity of the cameras. Specifically, I’ve experienced at least two cameras per year failing due to the high temperatures. While I understand that outdoor devices face a range of environmental stresses, the heat here seems to exceed what the cameras are designed to endure.
I’m wondering if your team has any plans to address this issue by implementing enhanced heat dissipation features, such as improved heat sinks or other thermal management solutions. I believe such an enhancement would be invaluable for users in warmer climates, ensuring the devices can handle the rigors of outdoor use in extreme heat conditions. It would also align well with the cameras’ designation as outdoor-rated products.
Currently, the cameras’ affordability has made replacement manageable—even when failures occur outside of the warranty period. However, as my system continues to grow, I foresee a point where the costs of replacing cameras due to heat-related failures may become unsustainable.
I believe this is an important area for improvement, as it would not only benefit customers in regions like mine but also strengthen the overall reliability of your product line. Knowing that the cameras can withstand harsh conditions would provide peace of mind and further solidify my loyalty to your brand.
