App not accessing devices

They should offer free subscriptions for being so inconsiderate.

Same here except my pan cam was going haywire- noisily spinning around on its own! Woke me up and freaked my cat out! Couldnā€™t log in, had to change my password for some reason, then thought I was hacked. Did i get hacked?! Maybe? Checked Google and here we are. The app worked fine for me late January and early Feb when I last used it remotely! Wtf. Anyways. Unplugged the cams until we know its not ā€œThe Russiansā€ hacking the planet.

Also having the same problems, but different on three different devices. One freezes before fully opening. One loads up, but without any of my Wyze devices shown, one with Error Code 504. Updated app on all tyree devices. Still no luck.

Totally unacceptable that Wyze would not do a push notice to its users. Imagine the total number of wasted hours just based on the postings here.

This is completely unacceptable. How am I to trust this system for safety and security purposes??

As of 8:22am CST app is still not working and no information from Wyze regarding the issue, very unprofessional for a security company.

was about to type the same thing i just read, 3h have passed, and no communication has been sent out even just to let people know they are aware of an issue. this is a security company we are talking about, what an utter joke.

I asked in our local moms group is anyone else is having issues and so many are. But one mom posted she got an error message about a third party encryption and threw all her cameras out right away.

lol even if it were the Russiansā€¦ why would they look at you?

Tucson AZ and no service, no cams showing up in the app. Probably time to go to a different service.

They still have not put an official statement regarding this outage? All my cameras are out, wonā€™t show up on the list.
I made the mistake in resetting one device not knowing what is going on.

Even the phone calls no one is available

My device list wonā€™t load, and one of my cameras wonā€™t connect. Been down since 3am. 5 hours and 40 min laterā€¦ this is ridiculous.

The camera in my bedroom was off and it decided to reboot/ do a power cycle out of the blues a little before 6 am. My dog freaked out. I finally managed to calm her down and it did it again not even 10 minutes later. It gave me a very bad feeling since, as mentioned, my camera was off. During each reboot, the light never came on. Iā€™ve been trying to open the app since before 6am with no luck and itā€™s now 9:40. I unplugged all my cameras for now. A down server or whatever this might be shouldnā€™t do that.

Happened to me as well. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and now wish I hadnā€™t, because itā€™s going to be a PITA to add the cameras again.

Same in Pittsburgh Pa. Last detection on cam was 4:45 am. Nothing works so now I know it is on there end.

If the camera has an SD card, will it still record so I can look at it at the times this outage is happening?

I wish I would have found this several hours ago, before I deleted the app and cleared all my data as a last hope to fix an issue I assumed was on my end. :pensive: Iā€™m disappointed and frustrated that nothing has been updated in terms of a known outage after almost 6 hours.

Same here in Michigan. The app wont even allow me reconnect any of my cameras really loosing faith in the company I have business to run not fix a problem that cost me time from helping my customers.
