App not accessing devices

Same issue here. I stg these Wyze cams have been nothing but trouble ever since I purchased them. Almost instantly regretted my decision. This is just the icing on the cake. I will never purchase another product from this fly by night company. And as soon as my current “Camplus” ripoff subscription is over I’ll be moving to something totally different.

Couldn’t connect to my Wyze Bulbs from iPhone App. Reinstalled app twice, rebooted phone twice, rebooted modem and router. In the app, to reinstall my bulbs, I get to the Power & Lighting section, no matter what device-type is clicked nothing happens, no response. Can’t find any report in the Known Issues section of the Wyze website.

AWS is reporting no outages, Wyze has said nothing since Feb 2nd… hmmm not getting a good feeling about this.

I can’t access any doorbell or WyzeCam videos. My app prompted me to add CamPlus, which I’m already paying for.
Also my WyzeCam has a fast blinking light - won’t connet to the app.
The service is terrible.

Can’t connect to Wyze color bulbs or LED strip. Have re-paired bulbs, moved them to different sockets, uninstalled/reinstalled Wyze app, reset modem and router, and restarted phone; each several times. It’s definitely the app, which was working just fine at ~4AM. The app is running very slowly and glitches out with a “Loading” message every time I try to find any devices.

TBH, this is only the third issue/outage I have experienced in three or four years. Not ideal, but not 100% Wyze’s fault.

My experience is the same as yours…

Mine is down too, stared out as just one, now all are down and can no longer retrieve camera list, cant add them back… I have one camera left in my list because i thought it was an issue on my end :woman_facepalming: they need to fix it as its been down Hours!!!

Yup, another outage. Not getting a good feeling, but I also know I have 2 choices, I can wait it out or start using another solution. The amount of money I have spent on Wyze cameras and services is nominal compared to other companies and equipment. Sadly, it is not just Wyze. What happens when all companies are using AWS as their backbone and AWS has an outage? Not a fan of that at all.

There is literally nothing you can do until they fix their problem.

I suggest to do what I’m doing and upgrade to a more reliable camera system.

Same here!!! Stopped worked at 2:24am and it won’t let me restart it in my phone…keeps saying error code 1 or 504 and now after i unplugged it and replugged, my device is not registering at all under my name / issue…just says unknown user and i have no camera picture. Our internet connection is fine but it wont let me do anything. Our Vivant camera isnt working either.

None of my cameras are working - I’m located in VA.

With all the promo email I receive wouldn’t have it been nice for Wyze to issue an alert!

It’s discouraging that we’re several hours into this outage and Wyze still hasn’t acknowledged the problem on their status page. Either they’re so understaffed that they’re not yet aware of the outage, or they have little interest in keeping us informed.

My newest camera v3 is working wonderfully but my other 6 v1 & 2 arent working… real annoying. Nice to see Wyze is on top of it…not

the android wyze app shows half my v3 cameras working and the rest have message “Offline”.
tinycam pro shows all my cameras offline with a message “Value of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject”
