Same issue here, Since yesterday 4/17 none of my Echo devices can show me my Wyze cams. It’s really annoying since I use one as a baby monitor. I hope they fix this asap. I also unlinked and relinked the Wyze skill several times in the Alexa app, but it’s just a waste of time.
I’m in the same boat as @wunderkitten since I use my cams to monitor my daughters and my garage. How long will we have to wait for that? Now I wish I had gone all Google Home products
It’s 1:38am and I just checked my Echo Show and the cams are working
Working this Morning!
Wyze I beg you, please please give us an updated bug/issue status page so we don’t spend two days deleting and reenabling trying to self fix the issue and making things worse.
I agree. Why have a status page if you are not going to use it. It is the first place that I look before going down the rabbit hole of troubleshooting, chatting with tech-support, etc.
PS - things are also working normally for me now
There is one here.
yeah but this issue wasn’t there, I checked. last update was march 25th one. When Wyze server notices and issue it should alert wyze something is not operating normally with it’s service partners, Is that not an option there? We need to know when issue first happens not at tail end of it.
Very rarely does any of my Alexa devices (Echo-10, Fire-10 Tablet, FireTv)
Acquire and retain any of my 20 V3 cameras; even those mere feet from the router.
( Large property)
Says “Camera not responding” even as the camera is displaying on my android wyze app at that same time.
My Google device hubs have better success but still hit and miss.
Pretty sure it is the AWS servers choking.
Beginning to regret my heavy investment in all things Wyze.
If you go to account on wyze app and click firmware update a new bulletin for today is posted saying they are not fully recovered yet.Mine were fixed yesterday but down again.
All 31 of my V3 Cams show “up to date” on firmware; Outdoor Cams show “Status unknown”; there is no note posted.
When I see posts like this it makes me wonder about how Wyze Professional Monitoring Services deals with such outages??? The Wyze family of products often update and experience glitches. Such events are relatively easy to fix for the DIY tech crowd but I feel pretty sure there are users that are not that tech savvy and they bought into and depend on the ‘security’ aspect of Wyze cameras, et al…
I think there needs to be a rock solid track or group that has a very very dependable update process. Security is SERIOUS!

Most cams not showing on echo shows. Shows fine on app.not sure whos at fault wyze or amazon. The skill has a very low rating due to not working most of the time. Its clear the combo is more of a toy than a reliable system. This isnt a a one time occurance the echo ‘outages’ are frequent.
Any updates from Wyze. Mine have never worked. Got an Echo Show 8 last month and it’s never worked with the cams. It would be professional if the Wyze team would admit a problem or at least acknowledge where the problem is (if it’s Amazon).
Don’t be surprised if the issue is with Amazon. They recently terminated A LOT of people that worked in the Products & Services division!

Had another V3 cam sitting around not updated to the latest firmware. Works without issues. Not saying it’s a wyze issue…but if an older firmware works that’s not a great look from Wyze. This is basic trouble shooting 101.
