Any way to get rid of the motion tracking green boxes? Why are they even in the RTSP feed?

Testing out the RTSP software the motion tracking boxes are super annoying. I am guessing it was technically easier to pull from the video source that has them but really there is no reason they should appear in the RTSP feed.

I also noticed there is no way to disable motion tracking completely in the camera, the most I have been able to reduce it is by setting a tracking region which still has a fairly large minimum size and set the sensitivity to minimum.

Is this intended? Is it a bug?

go into the setting of that particular camera ( same area you have the option to turn the camera off) and you will see a motion tagging option on the left side . click it and you should be good.

Thanks… oddly I had done some other searches and found nothing online but I probably was too specific and included rtsp in my search.

it happens. I actually did that the other day too. glad to help.

If, on the other hand, you have motion detection disabled on the camera and you want it in the RTSP stream, VLC has an option to show motion detection on it’s own.

Using a 3rd party NVR, I am doing all the motion detection on it so all I want is a cheap clear stream.

Now I am on to troubleshooting the bury image which after doing some search seems to be a common problem with these cameras.
