As I said I have 256GB SD cards in the cameras recording continuous so I can go back about 3 weeks, playback from the SD card and find what I need to find. A 128GB card will work well also for maybe 10-14 days, I don’t remember how long all the cards last before they start to overwrite the oldest videos but is at least 2-3 weeks depending on the card… Events are a good starting point but the SD will show all before and after as far as you want to go.
Recording continuous recording needs good microSD cards. I like High endurance cards but they can get expensive. You could just set the cameras to record events only to the SD also but I like the entire story.
Easy peasy. Use the SD card or playback button on the camera live view screen on cameras that support SD card recording and viewing. Retention depends on your SD card size and wither your recoding continuous or events only (not to be confused with cloud events, different function) to the card.
OR take the card out of the camera and view the available files on a computer. Easy way to view lots of footage quickly, and to transfer to your computer quicker.

My cards are all real and expensive and still in operation.
Thanks for this video, it’s a great and clear one but I am not seeing an option for an SD Card with this doorbell?
I don’t have a Wyze doorbell so maybe someone that does can chime in on the SD card.
No SD for the V1 doorbell, There is nothing on the specifications that shows that it does.
Thx so the recording options mentioned here does not apply to this doorbell… So which wired doorbell will give me live webview on my desktop pc plus the recording option for SD Card mentioned here so I will be able to view and rewind VHS style or at least easily skip in a timeline on my desktop pc please?
Wrong person to ask since I don’t have any video doorbells. They have a V2, a Video Doorbell Pro which is battery and can be wired and the newest is dual video doorbell.
Maybe you should start a new post and ask. BTW we just had an earthquake 3.7 at my house, one big bang.
that is the only reason I have Cam Plus - for the doorbell

Yeah me too but as mentioned, the events are never totally accurate, and rewinding doesn’t work well with that timeline feature.
Btw, would I always need to physically remove the SD Card to view it’s contents on my desktop pc or can this be done wireless please?
If you have any WYZE device that can record to a microSD card in the device you can view the all of the videos on the SD card via the app you don’t have to remove it. You can view the SD from the events page or the live view. If I wanted to view the SD on this cam from live view I would tap the SD icon.
Ok thank you! BTW, just FYI, I had created the other thread here is you might have a chance to have a look please and should be able to offer any advice info?
