Hey Wyze engineers, when will you make this work for Canadians?

How about some support for Canada? We’re paying the same subscription fees but are locked out from a lot of features… how does that make sense?

Was it working before? I am not familiar. Have you been able to run routines before with a Canada account? (I have a suggestion. Create a new account on Amazon and assign the country as USA for your routines. Be sure to set the Wyze skill to use this account. Or, change you current Canada account…

Routines never worked and have been reported for years to Wyze. I don’t even want to think about what’ll break in the Amazon ecosystem locally for us if we change the country. I will end up switching away from Wyze for the devices and subscriptions when I get that annoyed.

I am Canadian and running into same Error…This Device is not currently supported. Funny though, Last Year I was able to use my Wyze Cam v3 to trigger Routine when It Detects a Person. And they are Still Working Fine. Note, I do have CamPlus Problem is I can not create any New Routines or Modi…

It’s annoying, and the current work-around is to give them a little more money: You buy a Wyze smart plug (I am using the outdoor one because it was on sale) which you trigger in a Wyze rule to turn on when a person is detected. Then you can run an Alexa routine that is triggered by that state cha…

Hey Mark, thanks for your response and Ideas. Yes, very anoying. I am ok for right now as I do have a couple of old working routines already making an announcement on my speaker , and turning on light at different times. But with the Night Time coming earlier, it won’t let me change the timing on t…

@BertAgos , Just a suggestion to test with. Create a new Amazon account, but set the country to US. (Yes, I know you can change yours to US to test with, but this may have hooks that don’t expose themselves.) Then add the Wyze skill to that US version account and check to see if your routines work…

Hi BertAgos But with the Night Time coming earlier, it won’t let me change the timing on those triggers. That’s actually where the Wyze plug workaround has an advantage over straight Alexa integration. You can set in the Wyze rules to only trigger between sunset and sunrise - something that Alex…

I am well aware that I am resurrecting an old thread, but looks like the Alexa routines still not working with Wyze cameras. I’m trying to set a routine that when my V4 detects a person to turn the Kasa bulb for 15 minutes. When I select the V4 all I get is this "Error: This device is not currently…

I have V3 camera and it is working for me. If I remember correctly, you need to have a Amazon Alexa USA account in order for it to work.
