Alexa Person detection announcements with wyze cameras

A possible tip. From my limited experience it seems that using the Alexa, Devices, Cameras settings to turn this feature on may be MORE reliable than using the equivalent Alexa routines method. Unfortunately.

How do I program the Doorbell to announce a message to the person outside?

I think I see the problem now. Alexa/Wyze Skill refuse to execute two routines in close proximity. I have a front door cam and a driveway cam. Frequently but not always a given human will cross both of their (narrow) detection zones. When I had Wyze announcements toggled under Alexa, Devices, Cameras, this worked seamlessly. A person crossing the zones would trigger two announcements, which would get spoken with 1-2 seconds of each other. But now that my detection for these depends on two…
