Hi, I’m at work and a package was delivered to my front porch and I received an alert for package detected which is great! However it keeps alerting my iPhone every couple of minutes. Is there something I can click on to say “got it, thanks, message received, you can stop now”? I don’t want to just turn off the camera alerts because I want to continue monitoring. Thank you.
It means there was some motion that triggered an alert, and it analyzed the picture and the only thing it could identify was a package. Shadows, people walking by, etc can cause this. Using detection zone and/or sensitivity settings can help reduce this, eliminating unwanted motion from triggering an alert.
I believe there might be something in the wishlist forum about telling it to ignore something, but that seems like it would be difficult to implement and not have it then ignore another package that gets put there later etc.
