When my doorbell detects motion I want a light or sound to go off so that whomever is there knows that their presence has been detected. How can I do this? Tia
You could do something like this with Automations in the Wyze app if you’re using a Wyze Switch or Bulb (for a nearby porch light, for instance). Depending on your doorbell model, you might also have an option for Motion Warning that you can enable. For Video Doorbell v2, for instance, the latter can be found in the device’s Settings ➜ Detection Settings ➜ Motion Warning. You could enable something like that, and then the doorbell would play a chime tone or a message that says something like, “Hi. You are currently being recorded.”
Without knowing more about your situation (what additional Wyze or other smart devices you might have available), what your specific doorbell model is, and other details about what you’re trying to accomplish, I’m probably not going to be able to provide much more of an answer.
