At least once a week when I check my Air Purifier Insights page there will be no dots on the chart. I have to turn it off and unplug it for a few seconds, plug it back in and turn it on then the chart dots will start registering again. It doesn’t lose the wifi connection, so that’s not the issue. Anyone else having this same issue and if so is Wyze even looking into why this is happening?
What’s up @Resist, been awhile!
I just looked at my 2 air purifiers and the insight dots were there and up to date. I will be honest though, I don’t look at them much, if ever.
I will check them a few times over the next couple of days to see if I notice the issue you are having.
What OS are you using? Wyze App version?
I just checked mine and sure enough not one dot. This is happening like clockwork on a weekly basis. I’m on iOS 26.6 and the Wyze app firmware v3.19.0 (17). But it’s been happening for a long time with various OS and Wyze app versions. And my wireless router isn’t the issue.
This happened once again. I talked to a friend of mine who has a Wyze Air Purifier and he’s having the same issue. He’s even having the hot LED issue like I am, where the middle horizontal LED is bright white when that LED is on.
The AQI dots disappearing is a known issue and has been reported repeatedly by a number of customers. This has been going on for over a year. Wyze will have you do the whole reinstall and reset game, the issue will continue and Wyze will then ghost you. I have resorted to plugging it into an network connected outlet and rebooting every couple of weeks. Welcome to Wyze support.
Wyze releases new products constantly, released another one today, yet they take their time fixing software issues and rarely if at all fix hardware issues. And you’re right their customer support does nothing but tell us to do what we’ve already done and then you never hear back from them. We shouldn’t have to put a network connected plug on every one of their devices to get them to work right! As far as their hardware goes, this is a Chinese company plain and simple but that doesn’t mean poor quality, it’s their choice to use the weakest quality parts from China they can. I was a big supporter of Wyze back when the v2 camera first came out but very soon after I saw changes in customer service and products that changed my mind. Yet, I still bought their stuff when what I thought there were new and improved products, but they turned out to be inferior. Their AI is terrible, their software constantly has bugs and customer support isn’t trained.
Consider bringing the issue up in the upcoming Fix It Friday event on 9/4/26.
They are going to start taking input from users again on what issues are happening that users feel they should be aware of and fix and will have employees reading them personally.
Good luck. There were a number of purifier owners that submitted device logs and did a bunch of troubleshooting that was submitted to Wyze that we were informed was being look at and never heard back on anything. I have given up and no longer purchase Wyze products. Business model philosophy apparently.
Exactly my feeling! Fix-It-Friday is a waste of time. If Wyze still can’t fix their customer service or their firmware and AI software out of the gate, then how will they have the time or resources to do anything with Fix-It-Friday issues? Seems like instead their new products department gets all the funding and resources!
