Add wife's cell phone

New to wyze 6/5/25. Now set up with my cell, using cam plus subscription and have SD card in camera. All working great. Want to add my wife’s cell so she can view cam results also. Can it be added without buying another subscription or does she have to buy a subscription also? Please describe how to do it. Thanks!

You need to use the same Wyze account to login on both phones.

I log my wife into my Wyze account on her phone like WillBill suggested.

I do ask my wife to please not change any settings while viewing Live View or Cloud Event videos.

If you share login like the last two posters suggest, you may run into some issues where only 1 phone is getting notifications.

There are some long-term hassles if you just give your same user/password out to everyone, least of which being 2FA login (which hopefully no one would suggest you disable)

Like Wildbill and StevenA say, if you can trust someone not to alter account settings, it’s better to use the same login. Sharing cameras has very serious limitations.

As mentioned, one major restriction is no access to sd card recordings for the shared user.

2FA is not a problem if you use something like the Authy authenticator app on both phones. The logins are duplicated across both.

What works for me is to have Notifications for Person turned on in the Wyze App. My Pixel phone and my wife’s iPad I have Notifications set to Off for the Wyze App.

My 2 iPads I have Notifications accepted from the Wyze App.

My wife is good about not changing my settings so Notifications works well for all of our devices

This works until it doesn’t. I had the shared login setup with my other half, but it would randomly start sending Notifications to only one of us.

Has worked for me since 2022 with no issues whatsoever.

I do not use this method because I want my wife to be able to access the SD cards. Here is a list of what a Shared user can and can not do.
