Account info

We just lost our home to the fires in Altadena, CA. We’re trying to cancel our account which was just renewed in December. AI has us waiting and waiting, then offers us 1 month free. I’m trying my best not to lose my mind under the circumstances. If anyone can reach to Wyze to reply to this message please do, I don’t see an email address, phone number anywhere on their site.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Wyze Support has no presence here as this is primarily a user-to-user forum. You’ll need to go through the Wyze chatbot or call Wyze Support at (206) 339-9646. If you call, you may be on hold for a good while as it’s peak call time right now.

I am so sorry for what you’ve been through. I know that the last thing you need is the frustration of the AI chat bot running in circles. I would give them a phone call as @Seapup recommended. I’ve had better luck with phone support than the chat bot myself.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

Sorry for your loss, another way to go about it is to tell the chat bot that you would like to speak with an agent. If I remember correctly you will receive an email from a real agent.

All the best!

Welcome to the Forum, @cmjetta1!

I’m genuinely sorry to read of your loss. I imagine this frustration is one thing you’d really rather not deal with right now.

In addition to what others have suggested, what worked recently for me when canceling a subscription was logging into Web View and then navigating to Account ➜ My Services and initiating the process from there. I still had to deal with a chatbot, and the first time it just dumped me back to the site without canceling the subscription. When I initiated it a second time and got to the “end” (where Wyze was offering another free month as an incentive to continue), I told it “cancel” again and was finally able to get past that roadblock and have the automated system cancel the subscription for me so that it was no longer showing up.

I don’t recall the exact workflow (and wish I’d documented it), but it was frustrating and not completely intuitive because of how Wyze has scripted it to try to retain subscribers. Hopefully that’s helpful if you don’t want to wait on hold.
