From everything I’ve read the forums, the 3.0 app is crap. I don’t want to hear from a Wyze moderator that will just take some getting used to. BS. I don’t set up events. I don’t set up categories. I don’t set up groups. I don’t set up triggers. I don’t set up anything on the existing app at all. I just wanna look at my damn cameras. Cleary, 3.0 is the result of a bunch of corporate doofuses sitting around saying that something needs to be changed when nothing needed to be changed. No one had the balls to stand up and say, “don’t touch it, it’s fine.” What if I want keep the old application? It’s working fine and I do like all of the screenshots. Are we being forced to get the new app? On a final note, I’m sure there are some very skilled programmers out there that could create an application that looks like the current Wyze app and avoids all of the unnecessary stuff. I’ll buy it!

My problem now with this is, I do not have an on off setting, if you click on the power icon, it starts streaming, even though there is no motion to pick up on. I have talked with the support, and have tried everything they stated to do. I still have this problem. Even before this app update, it would turn on and off, but would not record any motion. I have a friend that has one of the first cameras, he has not had any problems with it, but he does not update it either, maybe that is what I should have done with my cam v3, even going back on the firmware, it would not update, I had to download the firmware to manually update it, and I was back at square one. This app update just made things worse.

[image]Wyze sucks It’s true this is VERY complicated. I don’t think it’s complicated. We just don’t have all of the answers. It plug and play and it is 2024. Everyone with a problem should come over to my house with their cams. You need a known good network to fully troubleshoot. I have that at my house. Bring the beer, I will supply the network and some luck.

If I get to swim with the Diving Iguanas, you might have a deal :joy: Oh wait…I’ve been excluded: [image] ssummerlin: Everyone with a problem should come over to my house Darn, so close. I don’t have problems. Maybe next time.

In your case, I can make an exception.

[image] peepeep: [Mod Edit]: Photo replaced sans nudity. Soft appeal: Now I can’t see anything in my mind’s eye but what’s been removed, All the nudity was below the water like in a bathtub scene in the movies. Crikey, it’s Flipper and Elle Macpherson :us: :australia: ! Let Freedom Ring! poll

[image] peepeep: Now I can’t see anything in my mind’s eye but what’s been removed

It’s a sacrifice I am willing to take.

Wow. If I had Elle diving in my pool. I could sell tickets. Lucky dolphin.
