2 of my 3 2019 light bulbs will not reconnect to network after firmware update, I have tried everything multiple times they just will not show a signal strength, in settings it shows an ip address however, when I do a network scan, they do not show up and no app control. The app takes me through all the steps, connecting me to the bulbs SSID I go back to the app and it switches back to my network It gives me the finish notification, but it just does not allow control or show signal strength. That is connected to my network

Me IDEM… SAME PROBLEM
I bought a 4 pack when they first came out. Activated 3 initially and kept the 4th as a spare.
The 3 that I recently re-paired to a new network, can’t be controlled any longer by the app. They show up - but do nothing. (Bricked as the v1 Sensors)
The 4th (un-activated one) works fine. It shows the current date of activation and is fully controllable. So the issue lies with the previous activation of the bulbs.
They should be able to fix a software glitch that they created.
Unfortunately, I suspect the issue lies within the firmware update itself. If it was just the software, we’d be able to downgrade to an older version of the Wyze app and connect from there, but I’ve tried about 15 different older builds, both standard releases and beta versions.
Nothing works, so it’s got to be in the firmware, and you can’t update the firmware to repair this mess without first being properly connected to the app.
Wow!
Somehow I missed this post. That is a good tip. I had two bulbs and someone was working on a fix. Never heard anything since. I gave up and bought two Kasa bulbs.
I lost use of my v1 sensors but I think they killed them off.
Maybe there is still hope?
