Wyze home hub updated to beta firmware version successfully but now when we accidentally triggered an alarm I was unable to disarm it in the app. We spoke with Noonlight to cancel the alarm response but the app still shows the alarm response and will not disable it when inputting our pin code. It continually shows a popup that says “failed” when we try to enter the pin in the app. I am now unable to switch alarm modes. I have attempted to do a full reset of my system (deleting the hub from the app and reconnecting it and all the sensors) but the alarm status still says triggered in the app
Update on my HMS hub issue. Received replacement hub. Went through setup wired just fine. Offered to do the beta update, which I did wired. Got everything set up again still on wired connection. Attempted to switch it to wireless and it went into the boot loop that the first one was doing. After messing around trying to hit the magic reset combo for about an hour, I got the ready to connect prompt again. Ran through the entire setup again, this time no update was offered since it already had the beta firmware. Got it all set up and attempted to switch to wifi again. Once again it crashed and wouldn’t finish booting and would loop. Another hour of messing around and got the ready to connect prompt. Have it all setup once again and just going to have to leave it w wired
Weird. Mine shows wired when I disconnect the ethernet cable but works just fine on wifi. Can arm/disarm from both keypad and app without being hardwired.
I scrolled through, but didn’t see this reported. I’m having an issue with the 2.26 app version, both RC and RC2. When I try to go full screen, the app locks up. I cannot swipe it closed, I have to hit the power button on my phone to put it to sleep and then once the app crashes I can being using it again. This is on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have submitted logs via TestFlight as well as the app. My log id is 354658.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that the issue is NOT present on 2.25.21.
When I updated my Wyze Wired Doorbell to beta 4.25.0.302 it lost connection with WiFi. Power cycling the doorbell circuit did not fix the issue. I had to remove the doorbell from the mount and press the reset button, then I was able to perform setup. I did not have any trouble scanning the QR code (it was dark and the screen brightness was turned up).
Sorry for the trouble. We are working on fixing it. The new beta firmware with the fix of this issue will be released soon.
