Zooming in and Turning Siren On/Off in Monitoring Mode

I manage 19 cameras across two convenience store locations, and my employees and I constantly use Monitoring Mode to view multiple camera feeds at the same time. Since theft prevention is a priority, we rely heavily on monitoring activity across several angles simultaneously.

Currently, while in Monitoring Mode, we cannot zoom in or activate the siren. These functions are only available when switching to Group Mode or when opening an individual camera, which makes the process slow and prevents us from watching multiple cameras at once. Because of this, we often miss important activity happening on other screens.

If zoom and siren controls were available directly within Monitoring Mode, we could quickly scroll through cameras, select a feed, zoom in, and activate the siren when necessary without losing visibility of the other cameras.

Right now, when we double-click a camera in Monitoring Mode, the image enlarges, but we still cannot zoom further or activate the siren. Adding these capabilities would significantly improve the usability of the system for businesses like ours that rely on real-time monitoring.

Please consider adding this feature in a future update. It would make Monitoring Mode much more effective for security monitoring.

This seems like it might be a good fit for the kind of thing they announced a couple of years ago in some videos embedded in the initial post in this topic:

At that time, they seemed to be indicating that they would be working on a security system targeted at business users, but I haven’t really seen any other communication specific to that since then. :man_shrugging:
