Zero detections with new zone feature

They might be working on it. Finding and installing older firmware might help? I’m not actually sure whether it’s in the firmware or the app but here are related threads.

New detection zone issue (Bug)

I love being able to set a custom detection zone, but I’m getting notifications and subsequent recordings of events outside the designated zone. It’s like the whole area independent of my settings. [wyze]

Firmware 4.9.6.218 not detecting motion

I upgraded my V2 cameras the other day to Firmware version 4.9.6.218 and now my cameras are not detecting motion or they are detecting motion randomly. The firmware introduces detection areas and I have found no way to fine tune the detection. I have three different manufacturers of cameras pointing to the exact same place from a different angle and the other two cameras are detecting motion while the Wyze cameras are not. New Detection Grid Glitchy For You?

Hey Yawl. First post on here, and I hope it won’t be a constant, “I gotta go back on the forums to fix this issue”, type of thing… But, these cams have been a bit finicky.
