Just dropping in to mention that today’s f/w 4.9.8.501 fixed the image fade/corruption that has plagued my Wyze Cam v2 since around 2019. I had assumed the image sensor was dying on the left side, but today’s update returned it to like new condition. Is this a known issue?
Edit: Closer inspection shows some image deterioration remaining (or returning?), but it does still seem improved from where it has been.
Nope… that cam was relegated to low priority usage… until today. I have issues with Wyze in general and Wyze cam usability in particular that are probably not unfamiliar to the other users here, but I don’t bother to voice them… I’m just along for the $20, now $35 cam ride… beggars can’t be choosers.
