Is it ever going to work at all? Been in beta for a very long time. It was once said, it would be released in early 2022. Uh huh.
If Wyze would spend more time perfecting their products instead of introducing new ones I think their customers would be much happier. That being said,
I do like the products that are being made I just think they could use more polish since they don’t always work as well as they should. Most of my cameras both old and new
seem like they will not accept the latest firmware update no matter what I do as an example.
Maybe 2023 or 2024.
VP said it would be GA 4Q2022. But since we have no idea what they’re doing with it, we don’t know what the final version will look like. Since we’ve seen very little change, so it may even get dropped.
Maybe it will be a paid add-on for CamPlus?
I think this would be a priority for Wyze, however, it appears a “gun safe” has this beat. Please stop “teasing us” with this product. Give it some priority, please!
Wyze staff do not monitor the forum. If you are desperate, you can send them an email via the Contact button on the website. But that goes to Support, so I made them pass on similar concerns about this “beta”. I am hoping I will get a response, and some plans to improve things for the poor cusotmers.
Playback would be nice
It’s like they don’t know what the word “beta” means. They should be putting out new versions every few weeks with tweaks and fixes, to do actual beta testing. Take advantage of all the users here that will provide you feedback to help you perfect your products and services, instead of ignoring us.
Instead, beta is a term they use to avoid providing support. “hey, this doesn’t work”, “well, you know, it’s just in beta…”

You ain’t wrong tbh, they literally just put it out there and pretty much just have left it, with no updates or new features.

Because they sell the products so cheaply, people tend to overlook all the functionality that doesn’t work. Oh well… it was only 30 bucks, get what you pay for mentality. Their products go to market without being fully tested or mature. ie … vacuum and thermostat. This is the major reason I would never jump on the home monitoring wagon. I do not trust the product to do what the say it will. I do not trust if it doesn’t, whether the will fix in in a timely manner. All the product complaints in the forums and very little company response acknowledging issues. I have been in other betas and they don’t work this way. Unfortunately, Wyze does. … and they get away with it… you get what you pay for.

How long is this going to be Beta? For me, I constantly, 3 times a day, have to sign in to webview to get back online. Not good if you are using for safety checks.
Just posted a bunch of thoughts about this BETA of web view - pretty disappointing to say the least!
When an event fails to load, a black screen with an error message is displayed. This error message is in the center, but the element “modal-dialog-content” is full width and height of the viewport, which blocks the back button and any other controls. It’s transparent, but prevents the back button from being pressed, and the browser back button doesn’t work either. A reload is required to escape back to the event list.

Events literally never work for me, I’ve given up on the events page on the webview, it’s only useful for the live view and that’s it.

Final a desktop view instead of using my phone or tablet, still has some bugs, but viewing is now much easier and faster, I just wish scrolling through events was not choppy, and liner to see what your scrolling to in event video. I first suggested this about 6 months ago to customer service, appears they were listening to iOS users… 
How do you run it on your smart tv? I’d like to be able to pull it up on my Roku without having the mirror my phone or open the browser on my smart tv.
