Is anyone having success with the latest firmware update? Some people have said that there was no change.
No. It would be helpful if Wyze could acknowledge the “fixed” firmware is still having issues and they’re looking into it?

I am having the exact same issue with latest firmware version. Notifications on doorbell press are sporadic, like you have to do it twice or every other time it works like you say. Hope they fix it! I have two doorbell v2 units and they work great other than this bug, including the front/rear mechanical chime box.
Can Someone from Wyze help with firmware after updating to the latest version my camera stopped working it keeps going offline same with my cam pan v3
Is this related to updating a Wyze Video Doorbell v2 with beta firmware?
Has anyone at Wyze acknowledged the notification issue is still present in the latest firmware and that it will be addressed? It seems like prior to April the doorbell v2 notifications worked great. I am at 9807 and it is very buggy and inconsistent. A door bell press should notify you consistently, it is the actual main purpose of the device.
Imagine buying a car that only starts every other day and sometimes you have to disconnect and reconnect the battery for it to even work. That car company won’t be in business very long.

I have been trying with Wyze to resolve this since April now. Called. Chatted. Sent logs. Spent countless hours. They don’t seem to care. All I get are emails over and over saying “they are working on it”
A couple of days ago I contacted customer support again. Told them that they have a 1 year warranty and I either wanted my money back since the device does not work for its primary function or a new doorbell with earlier firmware sent to me since it worked fine before the firmware update. I asked for a “supervisor” or someone higher up the chain.
They ended the chat when I demanded that and I have not heard from them since.
