I was tired of my cordless vacuum not picking up cereal and other items of the same size. It would just push them around unless I picked up the vacuum and placed it directly on top of the item. So I modified the vacuum head to allow for more space between the head assembly and the floor. I got the Dremel tool out and cut a 1/4" off of the front area and then cut some breather lines also into the head assembly. Now it picks up the items without having to pick up the vacuum.
