Wyze V4 Live feed frozen, odd scrambled screen which is now stuck on my background of my phone

I set up my V4 three days ago (upgraded from V3, and love the improvements 100%) and when i first looked at my live feed/events the image was green and scrambled looking (image), the issue seemed to resolve itself except quickly but the background on my android phone had a very similar looking image taking up the top 1/3 of it (see image). other than my phones background issue for the first 24 hours or so my v4 worked flawlessly. The second day when i went to check my events i noticed my live feed was scrambled in a similar way, but more like how it looked on my phone background. so i unplugged my cam, router, reset my service and i still cant get a live feed. my router tells me i have a strong connection to the wyze cam.
We had lots of issues with the V3 dropping connection, or settings on it changing randomly, so we purchased a dstike deauth detector. After setting up the V4 our deauth detector was set off every two-to five minutes (sometimes 3 times in one minute) from early morning until i unplugged it late afternoon.
Can deauth attacks cause the issues im having? Do wyzecams send out any type of deauth packets?
Can someone obtain my router login info using deauth attacks on my wyze cam? this is the only device i have on the 2.4ghz band and kind of feel like these cams pose a huge security issue when it comes to my internet/wifi.

Judging by the screen shot of your phone home page, I’d say the issue is with your phone. The camera can’t affect the screen of your phone.

You may be correct about that because I got a newer phone now and it works pretty good with the app, no issues, thank you! I will say though when I was using my older phone on my way home about a half hour ago I could see my feed just fine, and while I was at my birthday party a little bit ago I could see it just fine from there as well. however when I get home it’s scrambled and green as it has been, so that’s kind of odd. No worries though I will just use my new phone.

I do want to say these new cameras are pretty great they have a really nice picture and the microphone them is exceptional compared to the old one on the V3. thank you wyze for making an easy to use and affordable cam with great audio and video quality for me to help keep my home secure with.

I’m not an expert, but from what I can tell, your video card or whatever the experts call them nowadays on your phone, bite the dust

Enjoy your new piece of electronics
