Wyze V3 cam suddenly stopped working making low buzz sound and sometimes flashes red light

Hi All,

I have recently facing issues with cam v3 and it doesn’t work in app and making continuous low buzz sound and even after pressing setup/reset button it doesn’t work. Not sure what to do.

First try a different USB power block (anything 1A/1000mA or higher). Then try factory resetting it. If neither works, cam is probably dead.

Possible connection to this thread regarding v3 stream to app issue.

Totally different things, the cam OP is talking about won’t even boot up.

Best case scenario, USB adapters are cheap and most have old phone chargers laying around.

Some people proactively replace the wyze ones with more robust brands, but mine have all been going 2.5 years without issue (knock on wood).

Not working in the app would be very evident if it wouldn’t boot up at all…
