Wyze Updates - Released 12/19/2023

I have had similar problems with my Wyze cams. Recently, I upgraded to Starlink internet service that provides average speeds in excess of 50Mb. My previous ISP was Frontier DSL at a max speed of 16Mb. The higher speed wifi network seems to have eliminated many of the issues I was having with my Wyze cams. Your network speed/capacity may be playing a role in the problem you are experiencing…

Nope, @spamoni just confirmed speed is not a factor in this bug. He has fiber over 600Mbps up/down and same issue.

My problem started with v2.48.0, and previous version 2.47.0 now rolled back to is fine.

Yea, I am thinking the same @bryonhu , It is related to the app and possibly server side as well.

Can anyone having the issue of the offline v3/v3 Pro or the -27 error please power cycle your camera and let me know if there is a change?

I’ve had a V3 Pro installed since early December of this year that as never produced a stable pix. It was pretty bad. I’ve posted about it a few times with hopes that someone could help. I had planned to throw in the towel today, and give the OG Telephoto a try in the same location, but awoke to a stable 2K pix !. The only thing that’s changed is this most recent app update. After all the troubleshooting (weeks), I can now say with confidence that it was not me, or my gear. While there is a short delay loading live views, I can live with that. Thanks Wyze - I’ll never get those troubleshooting weeks back, but thanks
