Hello,
I am a retired electronics bench tech who worked very happily for Muzak the better part of 35 years until the bottom fell out of the economy around 2008. I’m one of those people who knew what I wanted to do at age 12 - after assembling my 1st Heathkit shortwave radio. Although Heathkit is apparently still around today, you’ve likely never heard of them - ask your elders. In my younger days I spent countless hours designing & building electronic projects from the ground up. Time stood still whilst I was engaged in project building. The older I get, the more I realize just how much I miss those days. I also enjoy gardening, bicycling, and outdoors in general. My honey-do list can’t hold a candle to electronics, or outdoors . My family & friends refer to me as Mr Gadget, and I’m OK with that - I was a nerd before there were nerds. I plan to re-construct my basement workbench & get back into building & hacking electronics. It was, and still is, my first love.
