Has anyone noticed their Wyze thermostat is not properly reporting usage over the last few days? It’s been 100 every day. I know my thermostat is running. It’s online, but it’s showing almost zero usage for the last few days.
YES!! I just posted a long article about how my thermostat has been acting up and I think it’s about to die. I can’t even get it to connect to the sensors anymore after I had to delete the device and rebuild it in the app.
but yes, for the last three days, my app has been reporting that my air conditioner has been running for 24 hours straight for three days in a row. Which I know is not the case. And last week, it didn’t report for four days in a row anything, even though I know the air conditioner ran!
I can’t even recall if there was a Wyze app update, that I’m wondering, has affected the thermostat.
Very frustrating.

Yes my thermostat quit showing usage also I have tried shutting it down and restarting but still not working. What I remember is there was an update then it quit. This is normal for Wyze you buy the product and then they don’t care if it works as stated or not. They suckered you into buying it now it’s your problem. I’m fedup with Wyze no new products for me I will be junking all my products and go another route.

I am using IOS app V3.20.0 (20) and the thermostat firmware version 1.2.8 the last time it recorded usage was Aug 25
- Android: 3.20.0.941
- Thermostat: 1.2.8
I am also using IOS app V3.20.0 (20) and the thermostat firmware version 1.2.8 the last time it recorded usage was Aug 17th (didn’t record for 3days), and until I deleted the device and added it back in (because the thermostat was registering OFFLINE), it backfilled the days. But what is odd three other days this week it reported that my AC ran for 24hrs straight for the three days. AND to make things even more frustrating, it won’t add in my sensors! Still haven’t been able to.
