Wyze Thermostat is dead

My Wyze Thermostat died. I installed it and it worked great for a few hours then died.

I do not have a C wire in my system or a way to add it so based on the forum I installed a 24VAC transformer on the Rc and C connectors. The thermostat was tested and confirmed to have 24VAC on it.

My other wires are Rh, W1, Y1 and G.

I have an AC system with a gas furnace.

Any ideas?
