Another up vote for a dual sensor smoke plus Carbon monoxide detector that is interconnected wirelessly.
I just reviewed what’s on the market and trust your philosophical approach in making products will result in a superior result.
Thanks!

I just wanted to upvote this topic… I think this would be a great addition to the Wyze ecosystem. Wireless Co + Smoke Detector integration with the app, and have it send push notifications, plus when one alarm goes off, have all the units alert. Have temporary muting buttons in the app or the units mute all. You could even have synergies with the new Doorbell chimes to alarm, and also offer a feature unlock Wyze locks for egress, also record events on all cameras in a selected group. Etc.
I know if there was a product on the market that was feature rich, reliable and reasonably priced, I’d buy one for every bedroom, the hallway that is outside the bedrooms, the stairwells, kitchen, basement, garage, etc. That’s 10 units alone just from one user. This seems like it could be a big seller for Wyze.
To do a Wyze Smoke Alarm like the one from nest it would be cool
Please Wyze!! This would be a great addition and very popular.
I logged into suggest this !
YES!!! This the reason I just joined this forum!
I would buy the sh#t out of some Wyze smart smoke/CO2 detectors!
Please Wyze… Make this happen
I agree this would be great to have.
Would be a great addition to the new home monitoring system and sense v2 collection
Also add a separate heat detector for use in the kitchen.
Nest has one and it looks great but I don’t like the price you can do much better job. Thanks
…was woken up at 1:35 AM to a chirping smoke detector (low battery). With 9 detectors in our home, replacting with Nest @ $110 a pop is not a good value. Please Wyze…
Wyze Home Monitoring would need to have a smoke/co sensor as an option because otherwise it will be a second class service.
This would be a great integration to the new home security system as I currently have Comcast just for the smoke detector that calls the fire dept
My thinking goes along the same way. Would need to have the fire monitoring from a third party or from a competitor. One option would be to use a minimum system, for example, from Ring or SimpliSafe with a smoke sensor or smoke alarm sound listener.
Smoke/CO detector makes a lot of sense with the security products already on offer, particularly the monitored security service.
Not sure what would be cost effective. For instance, in a single-family house there could be 10+ smoke/co sensors (required by building code). Those sensors are typically interconnected as well which means that in the best case you could manage with one reliable alarm sound listener.
I was testing Wyze Cam’s smoke/co alarm sound detection but it was hit and miss. The case may be that Wyze Cam’s digital signal processing features are not that great? May be they could do the main part of the signal processing in the cloud and raise the reliability to the next level?
The case may be that they do that already but possibly their DSP algorithm needs some tuning?
How about Smart Smoke and CO Detector’s ?
When we can have ?
Please create combination Smoke and Carbon monoxide detector
For wyze systems
We do not have that fire/smoke sensor in our building codes (metro Atlanta). Granted I’ve only lived in 6 different cities in 3 different states, but I haven’t lived anywhere with that code for SFR. MFR for sure. Yikes! Definitely a horse of a different color. I guess houses in those cities are covered, but we could still use an awesome Wyze solution. Especially since we’ve added a kitchenette downstairs.
A Smoke and CO detector would be a logical compliment to the Wyze Home Monitoring product
