I recently completed building a new house and my insurance company required me to have home monitoring for burglary/trespass and smoke detection. I subscribed to Wyze’s Home monitoring program, done by Noonlight, for burglary/trespass, water and freeze. I have 9 First Alert smoke/co detectors hard wired in the house such that when one is triggered they all go off. After waiting for nearly a year for Wyze to come out with a smoke detector alarm “listener” that could be included in their home monitoring program, I ran out of time. Seems silly since Wyze already has this technology installed in some of their cameras. Anyway … I installed the X-Sense Listener, and subscribed to the X-Sense Home monitoring program, interestingly also done by Noonlight. Problem solved. By the way, if Wyze did produce and market a smoke/co detector I would not use it. I trust First Alert and Kidde products.
