I have been trying to export my Wyze scale data (which emails me a .XLSX file) for about a whole year now, but it hasn’t worked since about last fall 2024. I see that someone else had this problem but said it was fixed. My problem has not been fixed. I have done all the suggested fixes (latest software, rebooting scale and app), also sending to various different email addresses and using various devices, both Apple and Android. Nothing works. The app says it is sending the records requested to the email specified, but they are never received by the email. Does anyone know what might be wrong here?
Do you need to whitelist the sender’s e-mail address? I did an export yesterday, and it was sent from Wyze Scale Center <wyzescale@wyze.com>.
Yes, wyzescale@wyze.com is on my Outlook Safe Senders list.
I don’t have the original Scale, so I don’t know what differences there might be with that, but I’d probably be inclined to submit a log and follow that up by creating a Support ticket that includes the Log ID you generate. If you’re sure you’re doing everything else correctly, then I’m struggling to understand the problem, and I’d wonder if a log would help the engineers determine where it is.
I don’t know exactly when they did it, but I will say that they finally fixed a spelling error that I reported well over a year ago, though they still need to make other improvements to the way the data is formatted in the export.
