No, it’s not coming anymore and it’s Samsung’s fault, not Wyze’s:
Wyze would’ve loved to implement this, but you’re threatening the wrong people. Samsung has it locked up. They reneged on Wyze (and several other companies), not the other way around. That’s the only reason it didn’t happen. It wasn’t Wyze’s choice. IMO (IANAL), lawsuits will do nothing except get a ruling that it’s frivolous and the petitioners should pay Wyze’s legal fees over it, particularly because Wyze demonstrably acted in good faith and there is mounds of evidence that Samsung is the one who reneged on lots of companies with this.
I am pretty sure they did remove it from most places when Samsung started ghosting everybody. I see most of the main images now only show Apple Health, Google Fit, and Fitbit with the Samsung Health removed like this:
They may have missed a few where it was grouped in images with other things. I’ll suggest to someone to consider revoking any I can find. I found at least one that said “coming soon” a few pages down. I’ll send that to someone. Still, if Samsung actually followed through on their promise to re-open partner registration and access to the SDK again, it’s quite possible that Wyze might consider doing it, but it’s been 4 years of Samsung lying about it, so I don’t think anyone holds out much hope in trusting Samsung over this anymore. It might not be worth it to take the chance they’ll just do something else slimy by acting in bad faith again.
Again, I don’t work for, speak for or otherwise represent Wyze in any official capacity. I’m just a Wyze user who REALLY wanted this Samsung Integration (and some other Samsung Health Integrations I was waiting on) and was pretty upset at Samsung Health for lying, gaslighting and messing everything up. That’s why I know so much about it. Samsung Health was my primary Health App until they started pulling all of this weird behavior for so many years. I was/am very disappointed in Samsung over it.
