Wyze Robot Vacuum Pairing Survey

Once I used the right Wi-Fi password the pairing process proceeded smoothly. Keep up the good work!

Seems to me that ability to work with Alexa should be a core requirement.

Filled out the survey! The vacuum is great!

Best from Boston,

Love mine too and wifey is happy… Much less dog hair

Mine paired the first time BUT I turned off Cellular Data before attempting to pair because I’ve seen that cause problems with this type of pairing process in the past. I’m using an Android phone. There was no way to provide this info in the survey.

You are missing one more:
Wyze Vacuum WiFi signal is not being seen by any device?

Your are missing the show & tell of what is the difference between:
flashing, pulsing, blinking and whatever other money saving feature you with to employ using single light.

I got mine last week and it’s doing its first full clean after the initial setup today.
I came to the forum looking for this exact info. I assumed it would work with Alexa and was looking all over for it in the Alexa app.

I filled in the form as I’ve spoken to support and my unit is supposed to be replaced because not only will it not pair, but after about 30 attempts, it won’t broadcast it’s built-in SSID for setup now.

Unfortunately I need to use the forum as a mechanism to ask for additional help since after talking to Susana in support via phone, I’ve emailed support 3 times with the info requested by without any response. Ticket 990956. Please help!

I have one plus 6t and I had to turn off cellular data . I remember I had to do this with other products as well.

Hi @sloy and welcome to the community forum? :slightly_smiling_face:
If Wyze said that the unit needs to be returned, wait 3~5 days for the RMA number via eMail.

Thanks @dr.know! They were actually going to send me the RMA once I got the replacement vacuum. Unfortunately now, they just won’t respond to any emails. It’s definitely not the best customer service experience I’ve had with this one.

They have been super busy so I’d cut them some slack. You should hear from them by Monday or so. Either way we are here to help and won’t let you fall vetween the crack. :ear: :slightly_smiling_face:

Interesting it worked without a hitch with google wifi? I prob just need to let it charge overnight. there doesn’t seem to be a charging light indicator on the device so it’s hard to know if it’s actually charging.

Edit: So the UPS I plugged the charger into was not working as I thought it was. I moved the charger to another plug and the vacuum talked to me that it’s charging so hopefully tomorrow morning I’ll have more success pairing it to the wyze app.

I agree, dog hair has now been banished… The integration with Alexa is in progress but not yet ready
