Wyze Plugs Not Reconnecting to WiFi After Power Loss

I agree that the plugs should not act like this. They should recover from a WiFi drop or a power surge/sag/outage too. I know buying a UPS for every plug location is probably overkill, but inside the Wyze Interior plug settings (I assume we are talking about the interior white ones), there is a “Schedule” that does not depend on being connected to the internet (like rules do). You can set multiple rules to turn it on/off, which I know is not what you want, but might can work till they can fix this issue.
You need to make sure you contact support about this, so they know it is a problem.
Next month if it is not fixed, get it added to the Fix-It Friday May 2024 thread that will appear around May 1. Good luck.
