Not in the Wyze app, in Android. Pull down twice from the top of the screen and press Mobile Data.
Thank you. Unfortunately. I was never able to connect. I was on chat with tech support for almost an hour. So bummed.
Well that stinks, sorry to hear.
I have connected 4 ‘plugs’ on my WIFi via my iPhone.
For the first 2 weeks no problem.
Then randomly, when I open the app on the iPhone one or more of the units are not showing up. Then after awhile they DO show up again.
Sometimes even if they ARE there, they don’t click on or off.
I have tried completely redoing all 4; that doesn’t help.
The 2.4 wifi signal is plenty strong (they are 12 feet from the router).
The REASON I depend on these is I am partially disabled and need to turn lights off and on from my bed.

I’m on Samsung android and had same issue with not seeing Wyze_smartplug_apxxx network. I just updated the Wyze app and it worked
I have the 2021 edition Plugs with the key symbol on the back. Location should not be necessary during setup and requiring that is a real privacy weakness. Why can I not simply connect my iPhone to the Plug via Bluetooth in order to configure the Plug to my WiFi network?
This works great! I was so, so frustrated. Why wyze support did not say that instead of repeating the website messages

I bought two of these plugs and can’t get them to connect. The plug doesn’t have the key symbol on the front, but it does on the back so I’be been trying to get it to connect using the “classic” instructions. But that didn’t work then I saw the above answer so tried the Bluetooth choice. The connection failed. With the Classic mode the network the plug is supposed to create never appears on my phone list. I’m stuck. Can anyone help? The blue light is flashing quickly so the plug is in pairing mode.
I am not sure why you are stuck but I can say if it has the key symbol on the back you should be setting up via the bluetooth instruction and not ‘classic’. I would try rebooting your phone and then doing it, I have had to do that on occasion to get the bluetooth to connect
I can’t get it to connect to my wifi in bluetooth mode. It keeps failing. I rebooted my phone but no difference.
