I’m thinking of getting a Wyze Plug to control a siren in conjunction with my camera. If I see an intruder I will turn on the siren, but for the sake of the neighbors I want to be sure that after a power outage the plug comes back turned off. Has anyone tested this?
I’ve had a couple power outages and at the times both plugs were off. When the power came back on they remained off. I’ve also had to shut the breaker off to that room and again they stayed in the state they were in before power loss. In the breaker case they were on.
I’m of the opinion from my own personal experiences that they go back to their previous state before power loss. But that’s just my experiences. Someone might have had a completely didn’t experience.
Yep, same here. Off or on, they retain their last state upon power restoration.
Hi @IvanH1,
Here is a link to a YouTube video I seen of a guy using Wyze plug to control a Siren when a camera or a door/motion sensor is active.
Hint Hint @WyzeDongsheng , @UserCustomerGwen for a New Wyze Product!
