My problem was in the Wyze Services part of my App (iPhone).
Open Wyse App
touch ACCOUNT (bottom right corner of screen)
touch Wyze Services
touch Person Detection Pilot
touch Cancel Service (bottom of screen)
Then reinstall the service, Mine immediately started detecting people. Hope this helps. Brent
I did deactivate/reactivate the service. Now my Person Detection is sporadic. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve come to the conclusion that Wyze is simply not able to offer a reliable service.
What’s kind of weird is that since I re-enabled it with the old app, my Xnor seems to be working a LOT better than it used to. It really hardly ever worked before, but has been nailing it lately. (I thought it was because I have the cameras mounted so high.)
Hmm, wonder if they just silently switch the results with the new Wyze scanner. No real way to tell.
Are you using older firmware? I tried to switch back and xnor.ai worked for a bit then stopped. So I switched to the new PD and it’s unreliable. Might try switching back to xnor.ai when I get a chance.
