Just wanted to give a heads up on this. A few days ago my Outdoor cam stopped working and on closer inspection, it appears the charging port got corroded. The camera’s little blue light on the back stays on even if I physically switched it to the off position and will not charge anymore.
I’ve always tried to make sure the Solar panel connector was securely fastened to the back of the camera, but it looks like some water managed to get through.
For those that have them, it might be best to add another layer of protection, with maybe some type of extra sealant. I’m pretty sure I’m out of warrantee because I bought these shortly after they came out xD
