Outdoor Cams

Hello everyone. I was trying to buy an outdoor camara but all sold out… Way to go Wyze.
I see Home Depot in my city has them so I am going to go buy 1 and the base station tomorrow. However, I was wondering if anyone has tried them with a USB Solar panel and it if works? I am going to put that on the wishlist from Wyze in the future.

Wyze Solar Panel - Solar power adapter

Maybe it could work similar to the way the motion sensors clip into the back of the camera.

The official stance from Wyze is that you can’t use the WCO while plugged in, but that’s only because you have to remove the weatherproof seal to plug it in. It’s perfectly capable of running while plugged in. I’ve charged my WCO a couple times from a 28W foldable solar panel (RAVPower I think) I got on Amazon a while ago. It’s not a permanent solar panel, but I suppose if you had a weatherproof solar panel with USB output you could set it up semi-permanently. Just seal the USB cable into the b…
