I bought a wyze OG cam yesterday. I am setting it up now with my galaxy s24. When I go to connect to my network in the list, it will attempt to do so and then say “connection failed” etc and won’t connect.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does your network have one SSID for both the 5.0 and 2.4 Wifi ? Most all WYZE cams only connect to the 2.4 network.
The OG uses bluetooth for setup so usually it doesn’t care if your phone is able to talk to it on wifi or not. If you’re getting to the point you’re at, your phone is communicating with it ok via bluetooth.
First thing I can think to check - Your router can’t be set to WPA3 authentication. The OG does not support that, so change at least the 2.4ghz band to WPA2 (WPA3/WPA2 transition mode may work but it can be problematic, so try just plain WPA2).
There are some cases where a special character in the password might not work with certain devices, I try to stick with just capital/lowercase letters and numbers for best compatibility. May not be the issue here but it is a possibility.
In reality your phone should not need to be on the same network. I’ve set up an OG very recently where my phone was on a totally different wifi that is isolated and cannot communicate with the cam’s wifi network, setup went fine since it uses bluetooth.
