I just got 2 new Wyze OG cameras. When attempting to set them up, the Wyze app says “Device not found” over and over.
The camera light is flashing red. The camera is constantly saying “ready to setup” as soon as I plug it in if I press the setup button or not. My phone and camera are both close to the router. I set WiFi frequency to 2.4ghz and my phone says 2.4ghz connection. I power cycled the camera multiple times. I made sure latest version of the app was installed. I disconnected/reconnected my phone to wifi and bluetooth multiple times. I tried factory resetting the camera. Nothing has solved the issue.
I sent an email to Wyze support but I figured I’d try here as well.
I also currently have a Wyze V3 camera and 2 older Wyze cameras setup since years ago with no issues. The issue is only with the two new Wyze OG cameras.
